A dog blanket is a convenient tool to use in training your pet where to sleep, adjust to new surrounding and provide him with a sense of security.
Use a dog blanket to teach your dog where to go when it is time for a rest. It can be placed in his own little nook in a room, preferably a spot where there is little foot traffic. With his familiar blanket to reassure him, your dog can relax undisturbed but still be a part of the household comings and goings.

We were getting pet hair all over our clothes until we discovered that by keeping a pet blanket covering the couch at all times to prevent the hair from embedding into the upholstery and later getting on our clothes. When I want to clear off the hair or use the couch for people we can pick up the blanket hair and all. It can then go through the laundry or be shaken out and be ready to use again in no time.
We even have one for the back seat of the car to keep it clean as well. Be sure to get your blankets.
Keeping Them Warm

My dog has one of the best beds that I could find for him, but I also decided to outfit his bed with a comfortable dog blanket. My apartment has absolutely zero insulation and rather than spend a fortune on leaving my heater on, I bought my little guy a blanket and now he can stay warm and comfortable without having to worry about paying $100+ a month on my electricity bill.
